Designed by a Family That Never Missed Dinner

Growing up, Jordan Stuart's family had one rule: dinner was sacred.

No matter how busy, everyone gathered around the table. It wasn't about the food, it was about the laughter, the stories, the feeling of being truly heard.

"Those dinners shaped who I am," Jordan says. "My parents, my siblings, my grandparents; we solved problems together, celebrated wins, and just... connected. I credit those moments for the vibrant family life I have today."

In 2018, our family went out for fajitas and ran out of table. Plates stacked on plates, someone holding the tortillas, nobody able to reach anything. My mom said, "There has to be a better way." I sketched the first design that night.

That sketch became the Totem that you see today, which we designed, patented and now build as a mother-and-son company in Michigan.

Will it wobble or tip?

No. Each tier holds up to 4 lbs and sits firm, even while it spins. The large bottom tier anchors the whole stand, so load it first, like a caterer would, and the spread stays steady as every tier turns.

Is it big enough for my gatherings?

The bottom plate is about 14.4" × 8.6", the size of a large platter, and the three tiers hold 12 lbs of food together. One stand serves 6–10 guests. For 12 or more, put one at each end of the table.

Why is it so expensive?

You can find a tiered stand for $25. You can't find one where every tier spins on its own, the plates go straight from the oven to the table, and the whole thing folds into a drawer with a lifetime warranty. It replaces $200+ of platters, and over 200 uses that's about 38¢ a use.

Is it plastic?

The serving plates, where the food sits, are food-safe 304 stainless steel. The base plates under them are a durable, heat-tested plastic that keeps the stand light and won't dent or rust.

Can I put hot food on it?

Yes. The stainless steel plates are heat-tested to 600°F, so food can go straight from the oven onto a tier, and a cast iron skillet can sit on the bottom tier. Put hot food on one tier and cold food on another.

How do I refill it during a party?

Lift one steel plate off, refill it in the kitchen, and set it back. The other two tiers never move, and the spread never looks picked over.

How long does it take to set up?

About 60 seconds. The 7 pieces stack onto the center pole with no tools.

Is it dishwasher safe?

Yes. The stainless steel serving plates go in the dishwasher, and the pole and base plates wipe clean with a damp cloth.

How does it store?

The stand unstacks and stores to just 3"; each plate sitting on top of one another tight enough to fit in a drawer.
